Not recommend this lawyer to buy a house at least! Irresponsible and unprofessional.
During the sale of our own home and the purchase of another, Your Lawyer LLP was mediocre at best. The made errors on the paperwork and did not seem customer service oriented at all. Made us lose money $400 of their mistake.
Throughout this process Ken Johnston never once made direct contact himself. All communication (and work, it seemed) done by his assistant, whom we found to be impolite and arrogant at times. No apology provided for their oversight and stressed caused on the client.
Our family suffered stress and heartache whereas purchasing real estate should be an exciting venture. I would recommend you seek a lawyer that is more knowledgeable and has your best interests in mind.

Your Lawyer LLP is amazing. Both Sun Choung and Ken Johnston were a great help to me both financially and legally. They helped me with purchasing my first home and now they have assisted me in steps to resolving legal matters with fraudulent door to door sales purchase of a furnace. July, 14 - Review update: One year later and another mortgage through your lawyer. Ken, Shelly and Sun did a great job. There were some issues that had to be worked out within their office, but now they are fixed. I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend! Ken and team have been a great help and resource along the way!

July, 13-Frustrating experience. Poor communication, don't return calls and mess up the paperwork on one of the most important purchases that you make. Cheap lawyer = cheap service. This place is a chop shop in my opinion.

I have only good things to say about the Your Lawyer firm, I used them for the sale of my house. The receptionist was very polite and courteous, the contract and legal documents were all ready when I went to the office and were explained to me as I went through them, I was given some heads up about other things that I would need to deal with such as property taxes, etc. Also, my cheque from the sale was ready when they said it would be. I would recommend this company, no problem.
