Went to Xenia several times some years back when I was living in Vancouver. Good and quiet place to unwind and get away from all the noise. Very peaceful and beautiful place, really recharged me. Just don't expect a high class hotel resort with top amenities. Went for nature, peace and quiet, and it delivered. Very memorable experience. If you visit and you don't have a car, make sure you check the bus schedule. When I first went there, I missed the last bus. Luckily someone gave me a lift. Will definitely visit again if I find myself in Vancouver.

A beautiful place that my family and I loved to visit when coming to Bowen Island. Was looking forward to a peaceful visit today as it has been about three years, but I am incredibly sad to hear that it is no longer accessible thanks to droves of disrespectful people looking for a quick selfie. It is so sad that idiots like this have to ruin things for everyone. I understand the decision made by Xenia and wish them all the best.

This has to be my favourite retreat in the world! There is such a level of support from Angelyn and Saria. Angelyn has created this oasis of intentionally placing sacred structures like a labyrinth and a sanctuary that you can visit often during your stay.
The best part is that its all located in a serene, blissful deep forest where trails abound.

Not sure what to think about OPA not being accessible to islanders . What is the reason for this . For years this was a place of peace for me and my family to enjoy. It is funny to think a tree of its existence is owned by anyone . However I am sure there must be a reason with the number of tourists on island perhaps , did it become a problem ? Is there no solution like accessing it at least during the winter months ? What happened

The hospitality, rooms and property are wonderful. The grounds provided a space to BE with nature and reconnect. Hard to believe this peaceful oasis is just a quick ferry ride from Vancouver. Looking forward to returning soon.

This place is pure magic
Just a 20 min hop on a car ferry from Vancouver nestled in 38 acres of natural beauty. Cozy accomodations, great food with Saria and Angelyn the owner is a very special women.
