This firm is amazing! Used them for a purchase of a rural property, and everyone from the admin staff to the lawyers was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They walked us through every step of the process and explained everything thoroughly in a respectful and professional manner to ensure that we understood everything that was going on. We went with Mark about 5 years ago when we purchased our home, and decided to do so again on the discharge and refinance with another lender. Melanie Robicheau, the law clerk at the office, was absolutely amazing and on the ball with everything. She answered questions via email at 7am, and kept answering any of our questions into the late evening (7pm+). Seems like she is working hard to get things done.

Our mortgage broker even commented at the end "wow, she was really on top of things".

Used Mark's office before and it was a good experience but since he has merged with other lawyers it has been awful dealing with them. The person in charge of refinance will not return calls and prefers to blame the lender for missed deadlines. My refinance has been in process for over a month ! Even after complaints to Marks partner, and the paperwork "almost ready" for pick up I received an update it will "hopefully" be ready by the end of the next day. I will never use this law firm again and would strongly advise that unless you have a solid 6 months of time to waste go elsewhere.

I'm a mortgage broker and have used Mark for a few of my purchase deals. Used him for the first time on a refinance deal and it was the most horrible experience I have ever encountered with a law firm. The list of issues are far too many to type. My deal still has not closed two weeks after it was supposed to because of their complete incompetence. Very frustrating and looks poorly on me because I recommended this terrible law firm. That being said. I will never refer another client to this office again.
