I went in to see someone and I told her everything about what's been going and I told her I've been clean for 5 months now and she told me straight I'm doing a good job but they won't expected me on ODSP because I'm clean but I have a criminal record and I can't find a job because of my criminal record and this woman from the office said they won't expected me. They Tonight me four times already.

I had the unfortunate need to discuss a very private and concerning human rights issue. I was so happy with how this was dealt with and I had a very positive experience talking with the lawyer. Free services but unfortunately its not worth it. Not even for free. I see a whole bunch of 5 star reviews but most of them put zero words in the comment which makes one suspect the authenticity of such reviews. I sough help from both legal and housing services located in the centre.

The housing services told me that I should search ViewIt website and kijiji. Seriously You call this "Housing Services" and get a nice office and salary for doing this? I can do that too if this is all you offer. Why should I be unemployed and you guys have jobs and income?

The legal aid services were just as bad as their housing services. They are very polite, but their politeness equals only their incompetence. They are unable to solve simple cases. Not only didnt they help, they did also cause me more troubles.
I had a document holder full of the papers& forms that I had organised and needed them; stapled or held them together with binder clips. She took all of them from me and said she needs to scan them. When she brought them back, they were unstapled and shuffled so badly that I have been having trouble since last week reorganizing them. She had removed the sticky notes that I had on them and they contained important instructions (at least for me.) When I was exiting the office, I saw them and my paper clips and binder clips scattered on the printer table. Now take the most ridiculous part that makes you laugh or at least giggle!! Among the papers that she scanned were T2 Application Guide Form, that I had received from LTB and it was basically a guide for filling the T2 application form!!! It means that she didnt even look through the papers she scanned. She just looooooooves the scan machine, thats all

See such great reviews but for me very unprofessional staff who never return phone calls and only offer very limited advice that is easily available online. Housing advisor has a big attitude and no competence to go with it. Very disappointing!
