I highly recommend first time home buyers use David and Shauna because of their quick response time, patience and depth of understanding. They took the time to go over everything with me, and I hate to admit that I learned more from David about mortgages than I did from my mortgage broker! Highly not recommended service of this law office because of lack attention to details and communication with customer.
The information that needs to be provided is missed ( clarification on email about ID, informing that paperwork is done when I, as a customer, requested ( was emailed only to my ex-husband).
But when he purchased his a new property, for some reasons i received this email to sing the paperwork for a condo. I don't think my ex-husband was happy about it.
The organization must improve basic questions on how to communicate with a customer to serve them better.
Honestly, the service fees are quite expensive compared with other competitors, but the quality of service is poor.

I went to West Legal to get a Will made, along with other legal advice. There was ample free parking and I was greeted upon arrival and saw Rossana right away. Very articulate, and a great listener. Within a week I went back and got a copy of my Will. It was a very nice experience and I'm happy to have Legal West assist me. They were efficient and reasonably priced.

Despite the abundance of options for legal services in the home purchasing process, my experience with West Legal fell short of expectations. Several issues arose during our engagement that significantly impacted our experience.

The first problem arose when our mortgage information was sent by our broker/mortgage provider to West Legal, but the firm claimed not to have received it. After multiple follow-ups, it was discovered that West Legal had indeed received the information but had failed to locate it in their email system despite our repeated requests. This delay was particularly frustrating given the time-sensitive nature of our transaction, and the lack of acknowledgment of their mistake added to our frustration.

Another issue was the slow response times and lack of regular updates from their team. Each time we reached out, their responses made us feel like we were bothering them.

The final straw was when they incorrectly addressed a letter and sent additional funds to the wrong house. This mistake raised serious concerns about their attention to detail and accuracy with all documents. It is important to remember, the customers are not experts in legal transactions for real estate, so asking questions about accuracy when they made a major mistake on the house address would be valid, but once again, our attempts to bring forward this issue were met with a dismissive response. Luckily they didn't mess up the Land Titles.

Overall, my experience with West Legal was marked by poor customer service and a lack of attention to detail. I cannot recommend their real estate services based on my experience.

I had a rush sell on my condo. Jodi and Tom were awesome; I know Jodi worked extra hours to get my sale processed within a few days. Rates are reasonable. Highly recommend.
