I have had a very positive experience with Watson Goepel on two occasions now, recently with Ryan Chew who helped us every step of the way after my mother's fall, Ryan kept us in the loop every step of the way and explained everything in great detail so we understood everything throughout the process. Also, Deborah was excellent when she helped my wife and I gain our residency a few years ago. I can't recommend Watson Goepel enough.

I contacted Watson Goepel about an insurance dispute in October 2024. Mr. Anastase Maragos looped in Cameron Lineker of Blue Lion Insurance Claim Resolutions, a company affiliated with Watson Goepel to help with the case. In November, we paid the retainer of $2500 for Cameron, with promises that the dispute would be resolved in 6 weeks with an increase of at least $20,000. After 4 weeks, nothing had been done. He then told us he would get another restoration quote, would get a quote for mould damage, would escalate the claim above my insurance adjuster, would get Anastase to write a letter (this was promised 4x over 3 months with Anastase agreeing in meetings), would get information about interim costs, and more. None of these promises were fulfilled by either Anastase or Cameron. When I checked in to ask about the progress of these items, I was told that we would have another call, but Anastase never would agree to a time and eventually said he would not be discussing the matter. Cameron stopped answering my calls, emails, and texts in March 2025 after the insurance company offered the same amount they offered before I hired him and when he eventually did reply got angry at me for asking for next steps. I was told that the only thing I could do was sue, while Anastase and Cameron either ignored me completely or promised for a talk that never happened. I requested the retainer back and Anastase replied saying that the case was closed. It has been thoroughly frustrating knowing that they took my money and did nothing to help me. If you aren't a big money case, they care nothing for you.

Could not recommend certain "professionals" at this firm any less.

Ms. Michele Lepore is one of the least professional and compassionate people I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with in entire my life. When a relatively simple error was made on my part (calling Ms. Lepore when it was unknowingly inappropriate of me to do so) for clarification on an email thread I was apart of, she was immediately, and unprovokedly, aggressive and rude. She went on to needlessly email every single person involved in my file informing them that I was “offensive and accusatory” as well as “unpleasant”.

Instead of kindly (or, even, frankly) informing me that she wasn’t able to discuss with me the details about which I was calling, she instead treated me as if I was an idiot.

I am a layman and she is an expert. Just as I am an expert in my own field, I would NEVER consider treating a person who was unknowingly wasting my time (for lack of a better phrase) with such complete disdain.

Frankly, this entire interaction begs the question: What purpose would my being rude to Ms. Lepore serve? No purpose, whatsoever. She, on the other hand, has likely had innumerous correspondence with various people (outside of myself and my group) badgering her about files which are related to mine.

Anecdotally, I have since been informed that this type of interaction is not atypical for Ms. Lepore.
