My experience in therapy prior to Effie wasn’t very good, i never really felt comfortable or supported. My experience with Effie was completely different: she is honest, compassionate and VERY good at her job, listening and reading nonverbal cues. I can finally learn how to open up in therapy in order to help myself. We’ve been working on my struggles with anxiety and self-confidence and if you struggle with the same things I highly recommend this therapist for younger people!!

For years, I have sought out help from many people in the field; social workers, psychologists, school counsellors, .etc., but I was never comfortable with them, I never truly opened up, and held back important information. The other times I sought out help, going to those appointments made me feel as though I was doing a chore I was not motivated to do.
With Effie, I'm excited for our appointment, and she makes it very easy to open up to her. She knows exactly what questions to ask in order to have you realize your true feelings and thoughts about the situation. Effie is everything!
I had such a hard time with my anxiety and all of the things that were going on in my life and she was there to listen. She is reliable, funny, smiley and a woman with such a heart! She will really target your problems one at a time (based on what you want to start with) and even give you friendly homeworks.
