Longest wait ever with a serious inquiry. Checked in at 6:15 pm seen the dr at 11pm. Did scans and x-rays got results and the dr told me she doesn't see anything to the pain I'm experiencing. Ready to discharge me without doing an examination or checking my issues physically. Sabir, Sonia MD, the worse ER doctor I've come across. Very rude with an attitude, no compassion, very distraughtful experience. I would never return back to this hospital. Because, this hospital did completely nothing for me concerning my health, I then went to Southlake at 11pm and got the full attention and compassion there. I was in and out of ER at Southlake by 12:45 am with my concern and issue resolved. I was able to sleep in peace this night, thanks to Southlake.

My daughter visited this hospital Monday night (mar3) for her shoulder. She arrived around 4 pm and needed someone to look at her possibly dislocated shoulder. They took ex rays within 45 min then proceeded to wait until after 10pm. She politely asked once at 7:30 if there was any updates. Nothing told to sit and wait. Again at 10 she tried asking if any updates and she was the only person left in waiting room. The nurse on duty proceeded to tell her that she was being ignorant and when my daughter said she was being polite was just wondering what was going on the nurse motioned for a security guard. What the heck is going on here?!?!? She walked out never getting any results and still in pain. Absolutely ridiculous treatment and will never be going back. Wish I could give a negative star

Be your own dr, their mobile phones are more important then patients. 7 hrs still waiting. There was only 4 people in the waiting room. 5 nurses working all on their phones. Disgusting they should be fired. Need to hire real people many foreigners willing to help citizens how sad they don't get the opportunity.

Uxbridge hospital is incredibly rare.

All the doctors and nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate.

At no point was I ever made to feel like I was ever an inconvenience even when the bleeding during my early pregnancy turned out to be nothing serious.

My only gripe is that they are not funded enough or have the staff to have the resources to do as much of the treatments and diagnostics I know they wish they could do.

Out of any hospital that has asked for a donation, as soon as I'm in the financial position to do so I vow to help this hospital in any small way I can. They have done whatever they can to help me in the few times that I've needed it.

In a world where it has become the accepted norm to treat patients asking for help as "giving entitled millennial Karen jump-the-line energy" (this is verbatim from a nurse at a different hospital when I asked if I could use a pump and after having lost my job while pregnant couldn't afford the upcharge on the one time fee) this hospital stands out as one of the very few that truly cares if you leave feeling better and not just a checkbox to protect against liability.

‼️Local of a long time. Don’t come here for an emergency‼️, you will wait 6-10 hours to see anyone even if you’re in serious agony with something serious. On top of that, staff are unempathetic rude and immature. Ive gotten attitude and malice unprovoked whatsoever from female nurses here, this is especially uncomfortable, unsettling and disheartening when you are in a vulnerable position, IE; they are about to stab you and take your blood- this makes you lightheaded - you are terrified for your life, you are having a terrible night afraid, in pain, no sleep, hospital gown feeling exposed. The male triage nurse guy and one of the female ultra sound technicians are the only ones who were ever nice to me. We locals and beyond need to contact the proper government sources the mayor, the health ministry, to create changes in this hospital, this is ridiculous and atrocious, we also need more doctors working here 1 doctor is CRAZY. Tuesday night; 10 people typically all night and 7 will have to wait 8 bloody hours, sometimes they even just keep you all night, choose not to deal with you and wait for the morning shift to come in— no where comfy just in the terrible waiting room chairs with the stiff plastic backs, like atleast just be honest so can decide if i wanna leave to another hospital! Ive have had this happen to me and others i know on multiple occasions, i am never going to this “hospital” ever again, only going to port perry. I feel especially disheartened at the amount of times i wasn’t treated like a person, it makes me more sad than angry😞

This was my first time being at this Hospital. I have to say, everyone, cleaners, nurses, doctor, registration, xray technician everyone was so nice, professional and kind. The hospital is clean! The wait time was exactly as stated. I was in and out in 2 hrs! Thank you to everyone involved in my care!! You're all doing an amazing job!
