I had a wonderful experience at the Floatation Centre! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere stood out. The entire setup was super cute and charming, and everything was spotless, which made me feel comfortable right away. Mase (my massage therapist) was amazing — professional, calm, and attentive. I had a lingering shoulder injury, and I felt a significant improvement the very next day. I highly recommend this place!

Such a great place. The moment you walk in, it’s calm and peaceful. I have done the floating sessions a couple of times and it’s fantastic. 75minutes. The rooms have hooks to hang your clothes, a shower to rinse off before, and take a shower after.
They provide a small package of gel to put on any type off cuts or wounds you may have, so it doesn’t sting. Disposable ear plugs, quips, towels and wash cloth. They also provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Once done, you are asked to take the towels and rug and place in a hamper in the hall way. Everything is very clean. They have a small area where you can sit and relax, have some water or tea. Staff is very friendly

Jenelle is an amazing human being everyone who works at the floatation center are so kind I have been twice thus far and both times have been some of the most amazing transcendental experiences I have had as a human being.

Being in a sensory deprivation tank allowed me to break free from a narcissist partner, as I was allowed such clarity and peace of mind to reconnect with myself. I cannot overstate the unbelievably powerful therapeutic benefits of the experience!!!

If you have even a small inkling that you may like to try sensory deprivation, this is the place to be to have an amazing experience at your own pace.

Whether you are seeking a quiet and powerful form of meditation, or you are working through something in life; there is nothing quite like what they offer here and the place is full of good vibes!

The vibe at this place is perfect. The atmosphere is great, with a cozy and lovely area full of colors where you can relax after your treatments. They even offer herbal tea, making the experience even more enjoyable. The massage I received was fantastic, and I felt completely relaxed when I left.

Start to finish, this was the most relaxing thing I've ever done. The float itself was incredible, but I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was just how comforting and friendly the environment and the staff would be. It might just be the most peaceful place in the city. I can't recommend it enough!

My personal experience with the Floatation Centre has always been very positive. Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. Whenever I'm extra sore from my intense workouts, I go for a float and it immediately flushes out the soreness and recovers me for my next workout. As the owner of PuncHIIT Fitness I often send my fighters over to the Floatation Centre for recovery from their tough workouts. They all love it!

I visited the Floatation Centre after a lifetime of wanting to try a float tank. It was on a whim, hopefully covered by my insurance, but if not, oh well. The location has mad Halifax vibes, just a really friendly atmosphere. The dunk tank itself and it's shower were pristine clean!

I had a great time, and can't wait to go again. Great meeting Janelle, thanks for the orientation. My ear plugs did fall out though, and I found out about the salty ear crystals

This was my first visit and it was an incredible experience. I had a 60 minute massage booked as well as a 75 minute float. Mase was the RMT and they were incredible very attentive to my issues making sure the therapy session was exactly what I needed. After the massage, I got into a robe which they provided, received instructions about floating as it was my first time, a quick shower (they have all the products needed) and off I went into the tank. It was a blissful experience and I will definitely try it again soon. Highly recommend this place has its own unique vibe which is super welcoming, friendly and professional.
