I had a thoughtful conversation with Angiola and was grateful for her time. She brings deep lived experience and wants to help people navigate relationship transitions with compassion. Angiola offers a different kind of space for people seeking mediation ... one that’s forward-looking, co-creative, and centered on redefining relationships in a way that respects everyone involved. I came into the conversation with serious reservations but left with respect for the sincerity and clarity she brought to the conversation. I was also reminded that not everything has to follow conventional paths to be meaningful. If you're considering working with her, I recommend connecting directly and forming your own view. You may be pleasantly surprised, as I was.

Angiola is very sweet and kind.
When nothing was resolved in my situation Angiola disappeared.
If you want a friend, and a sympathetic ear to hear you out, then great!
As for change, find someone else.

Angiola and her team helped with my separation process, and I am eternally grateful for the spectacular help they gave us! Angiola is 100% professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, understanding, and very caring. My ex-husband and I both trusted her implicitly. We knew she had BOTH our best interests at heart - and together, we found a solution that worked for both of us. We emerged from the process with a rock-solid, equitable separation agreement, a fair division of assets, and feeling very positive about the process. Anyone who knows or worked with Angiola, both as a person AND as a mediator, knows the quality of her character and her prolific work. She goes above and beyond and will do everything in her power to make the meditation process fair, compassionate and effective. I cannot fathom anybody giving her less than five points if they actually worked with her. Angiola is empathetic, compassionate, professional, and has so much experience. She is flexible and is willing to work with you the way you need it. As a trauma therapist and group facilitator myself, I cannot emphasize how transformative working with her is. Highly recommend it.

If you are looking for somebody to steer you through the immensely emotionally and practically challenging process of separation, I cannot recommend anybody more highly than Angiola and her team. She practiced in family law for decades before deciding that she wanted to support couples/families to find less combative approaches to navigating this inevitably sticky territory. As a result, she presents a balance of clarity around due process and what's "normal" and fair when dividing assets and determining how best to support for the wellbeing of any kids involved, as well as a quite awe-inspiring capacity to help couples to find their way through the challenging emotions and transactions that WILL come up while in the midst of these kinds of negotiations. My ex husband and I really knew that we wanted to make the wellbeing of our kids our primary concern, but we sometimes had different ideas about what this exactly should look like. Instead of battling it out, Angiola expertly supported us to find middle-grounds, and to listen and muster empathy and compassion for one another even when we were in our darkest hours. I also deeply appreciate how she had us re-envision our separation as less of a "break" and more of a "re-formation" of our family. I am in awe of Angiola's skillfulness, wisdom, and compassion, and feel certain that we could not have chosen a better person to fare us through this momentous transition.

We had problems that we thought could be helped with some good council. We both had separate one hour sessions of discovery with Angiola and then one more with the both of us. She was positive and encouraging for the both of us in marriage. My partner really clicked with her. So the $7000 bill for 6 months of counselling was discussed and we mulled over it. After a few months she called me back and asked if she could help. We had decided to work on ourselves and not with a third party. She didnt seem to like that idea and offered some advise. Angiola Oddo said she didnt see any hope for our marriage! And she would be willing to help me with the lawyering up process to dismantle our properties and nest eggs!! Seems there is a lot more $$ in the legal process than the counselling. Stay away from The Change Builders if you value your marriage
