Very unprofessional and very unorganized law firm. I asked for a senior lawyer and was tossed around to Natasha Beitman-Brener who was very unprofessional and often yelled in meetings and treated you like a child. This firm made countless spelling errors on communications. Personal details from their other clients regarding their cases were shared with me in emails. A lot of money was wasted on Templeman LLP and had to rewrite all their mistakes with a new lawyer. They also tagged additional unknown lawyers onto communications sent to the other party. Templeman LLP is a very unbecoming and unlawful practice, don't waste your time and money here.

Natasha is incredibly responsive and efficient, never delaying action, and she expects the same commitment from her clients. Extremely disappointed with the service and pricing at the Belleville location. Family member went for ONE 1 hour appointment, a couple of exchanged emails, 20 minute phone call all regarding a separation agreement and it cost over 2,000 dollars, they didn’t even provide any new information that wasn’t already in the agreement, and took almost 2 months to give us an invoice that we owe more money. Don’t make the same mistake we did. We are on a different lawyer and the service is exceptional.

Really bad experience and lack of transparency from this firm. I called to inquire about having a brief conversation with a lawyer about general questions on the subject of separation and divorce. I asked for a clear breakdown of what a conversation would cost, and was told $350 per hour, which i was okay with. Instead, I was billed for a host of things that weren’t disclosed, such as being charged $125/hr for the secretary to take down my background information, which I had to submit anyway via email. Not only did they not disclose that I would be paying them to take down my basic information but they effectively charged me twice for recording the same thing, claiming the second time that they ‘just wanted to confirm my information was accurate’. Really sneaky. Additionally, I was asked by V. Ellsworth if an intern could sit in on our call, and of course I obliged only to later find out that I was paying $150/hr to have her do so. The most egregious act was being billed $25 just to receive an email notifying me that their prices would be increasing in the new year, when I had no business with them for the year mentioned. Not to mention that there were children playing during the call and V. Ellsworth kept repeating the same points over and over in an very clear effort to extend the call. I will never consider this firm for advice or any service again.

If you are in need of a family law lawyer, I highly recommend Michael Swindley at Templeman LLP. Mr. Swindley and his team are professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and success driven. Mr. Swindley provides exceptional client service and is a very clear, effective communicator. I am grateful for his conscientious preparation and just representation as well as his upstanding character. He is an excellent negotiator and works his cases to ensure he is doing the most he can for his clients. I wish Michael and his team continued success

Been dealing with a buyout for over 7 months. Have had to deal with four different lawyers in the firm. Over charged and said oh we will take off next bill. Claimed they gave discount but was actually a discount from a program at my work. They have done nothing to help my case.
Or follow anything I have asked. Just give other party what they ask for

Helpful advice on landlord tenant law, and were accommodating for the appointment time. Service was professional, staff knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.

Did not mention what to expect for charges at the time of booking (would have been helpful). Came in for a half hour appointment and was charged for a full hour, citing an extra half hour to prepare for the appointment (which I doubt took more than 5 min for them to print off a copy of the N12 they gave me).
