I used their services to negotiate a severance offer, if that's you just skip and accept the offer!

My counsel predicted that most likely with one counter offer I'd get a better settlement, Many many forms and emails and 7 months later after 2 counter offers and thousands of dollars in bills I didn't even end up with the original amount.

Very spotty communications, sometimes no response to calls or emails in weeks!

Inconsistent and non-transparent billing practices, at first my invoices were broken down in details and every bit of work was recorded in increments of 6 minutes! then at the end when settlement funds were paid to them, I got a big bill with a single line item that was almost 10 hours of work, costing almost as much as I had paid for all the work so far just to accept the last offer! They paid themselves from the funds and never replied to any questions thereafter to clarify what was happening with the last invoice.

Simply unprofessional, I wouldn't do business with them again and neither should you!

I had an extremely frustrating and unsatisfactory experience with Heather Tyminiski at Janis Taylor Law Firm. Throughout my case, I found the communication to be incredibly poor. Anytime I reached out and left a message, it would often take a week or longer for her to respond—and when she finally did, it was always via email, not by phone, which was less personal and left me with more questions.
Deadlines were constantly missed, and there were frequent requests for extensions. In one instance, Heather authorized an extension without consulting me first, which turned out to be unnecessary and only delayed the process further. Despite paying over $7,000, I felt like nothing meaningful was accomplished, and the case just seemed to drag on without any real progress.
I ended the agreement after four months, feeling that my case was being handled very inefficiently and with little regard for urgency. There were always excuses for why things weren't getting done or why deadlines were missed, but ultimately, I felt like my case was being neglected.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Heather Tyminiski or Janis Taylor Law Firm. The lack of communication, missed deadlines, and unnecessary delays made an already stressful situation even worse.
