Great experience having Tanya as our lawyer. We had been raising our niece for 3 years and needed to make things legal so that we could be decision makers, add her to our family benefits and make sure that we can provide. We had some issues with the father and Tanya was able to handle it all in a very thorough manner. Miss Martin entered court, dressed in arrogance and hostility. She was completely unprepared and stated child support was more important than decisions-making for the child. This lawyer is clearly unfit for family law as she sees money over the wellbeing of children. On top of it all she never responded to attempts to settle out of court. She will cost you money and not represent your best interests. I was so happy to be on the other side of the table !!

if I were looking for someone to represent me regarding Family Law matters, I would strongly suggest you look at other options. This lawyer doesn't seem to actually care about her clients or be bothered to communicate in a professional manner.

We had an incident with this Lawyer which was shocking to say the least, She told her client she doesn't like dealing with matters on the Fridays before a long weekend and proceeded to hang up on her client when the client needed her the most. The client was distraught and confused the lawyer she hired would behave this way. A complaint is forthcoming with the ISO.

If you truly need someone in your corner and not simply look at you as revenue, I would suggest keep looking because family law matters are very serious and you need someone that understands this and will fight for you.
