Had this lawyer 2 years ago. Bought a business, and took over a lease for the business. The Richard Startek JR, was asked to go over the lease and look for anything wrong and tell us. He told us there was nothing wrong with the lease and so we went ahead with the deal. Turns out he never looked at the lease and the lease is a huge red flag that is heavily in favor of the landlord. And now 2 years later we are getting screwed legally by this landlord because of Starteks incompetance. As well we had tried calling him and emailed a year after the deal to get info about the sale that he brokered and they wouldn't return my calls or emails. This law firm is the worst. Don't go to them.

A 1 star is extremely generous. Most unprofessional firm I have ever dealt with. Cannot make deadlines, unorganized and communication skills are grossly lacking. I did more than half the leg work and was compensated. Perhaps coaching workshops would be beneficial and addressing ego issues. Definitely caused us much grief and anxiety which no one can compensate you for. Take this honest, compelling and candid review as an opportunity to grow and do better which for you can only be a benefit.

Richard Jr and his clerk Amanda were fantastic to deal with. Family law must be difficult with all the emotions involved, Anytime I called or sent an email they responded in a timely fashion! My Ex Wife’s law firm dragged things on and made things very difficult to settle, Divorce is costly and not as straightforward as one would think.

I have to I would and have recommended Richard Startek Jr. to anyone. He handled my custody case with such care and ease that it made the hardest thing in my life seem like the easiest I never felt more comfortable with a place and person as I have here. I went to 3 different places and was told it wasn't possible or it would cost over 10 grand and yet when I came to see Richard Startek Jr he assured me that it was possible to get what I was looking for and it would be within my budget. I wouldn't call anyone else if I had something important that I needed help with.
