I'm more than shocked right now.... we were referred to speak with Mark Grossman related to an odsp matter. I was already sick to death of seeing my spouse being run around in circles was foolishly hopeful when this firm was given to us from a government agency to contact. We were told we would have a ( what I know to be standard common practice of any lawyer worth their salt) 30 min free consultation. I had 1 good experience with a former lawyer at this firm... now starting to think my success back then was actually my hard work . ANYHOW... We called in .. the man is on an almost month long vacation.. okay fine..leave a message.... his VM says to contact his firm assistant Stephanie...we do that... it was a little clunky already , we had to restate the simple issue repeatedly and in various ways. Says she will email him and call back. Got that call not long ago.... wow.... just... wow... 0 help... less than helpful.. " tell me you couldn't care less without actually says it ..both of you". My spouse contacted you for LEGAL ADVICE ! You like most are expected to provide legal advice and next step options in that 30 mins which would include active listening skills you seem to willfully lack. Assistant asked 2 oddly worded clarifying questions ... then respond with well if you want him to do appeals... we need a 3000 retainer plus GST... NO I wanted you not to discourage my partner with your 0 interest in people's situations and disrespectful level of ignoring a word either of us said. For real shame on the both of you. That man has endured and survived years of wrongful treatment neither of you can wrap your money simple heads around... and your 30 mins of advice = call legal aid they have to give you legal advice at no cost or pay us 3000... no lady ... YOUR firm was obligated to provide legal advice after listening to the situation...AND THEN ...MAYBE... be paid 3000 ( which is way to high a price for your sub par service) if you were chosen as the best option for him. That phone call made me feel gross being a part of ..... myself and Google will apparently be doing your jobs. Holy hell , I look forward to sharing this interaction whenever appropriate to actually help those that need help avoid you lot. Seriously.... people are better off with 0 lawyer than this firm. Don't like being called out honestly and openly for these disgraceful actions laced with indifference? Well... you know my number.. just called it less than an hour ago.

A long overdue review but I would absolutely recommend dealing with Mark Grossman. I have referred others since my dealings. They first listen, then try to understand then advise and counsel as lawyers knowing the law. Mark's character of putting others ahead of himself, good judgement for each situation and competency were exceptional. Very trustworthy and forthcoming. There is no ambiguity in what can be done and what is being done. I was fortunate to be referred.

These Reviews are accurate wish I hadn't gone. Cline makes you feel very small. Charged me 8000 for an 8pg doc commitment letter that should have cost 5k. He will go very slow then blame you for not getting the right information to him on time. He could verify information at financial institutions, but he will then charge you $250 to make 1 phone call, and not verify anything. Thoroughly frustrated with Covid excuses as well. Go to a lawyer that specializes in estate planning anyone, but that company.

If you want to be completely ignored, be charged an exorbanent amount of money and still not have anything done in almost four years this is the firm for you. They only care about the almighty dollar and not the client. I actually think they forgot me completely. You don't hear from them for months. $50,000.00 later and I am no further ahead in a simple will that took on a life of it's own. I did all the work and they collected all the money and I am back where I started. I should have listened to other people and gotten rid of them years ago. If you hire them be aware of what you stepping into. I wish I would have gotten that advice.

If you want someone to completely ignore your requests to keep all conversations written, and make a deal behind your back, that long term makes your situation worse, hire them.
And as a finally thank you, they charged me after I recieved my invoice to insure they'd take the entire retainer, I cant thank you enough for charging me 330, to write up an invoice.
Ask yourself, do you want your situation to get worse, before you hand them the retainer, I wish I had.

Rudest office in KW. I called and spoke to a lawyer about help with my case. He barely spoke English and wouldn't let me speak. He kept raising his voice saying I had to listen to him. When I asked him how long he had been practicing law, he told me it was none of my business and then he abruptly told me to go somewhere else and hung up on me. I called other offices and when I told them what happened, 4 out of the 5 places told me never to deal with Shuh Cline & Grossman as they are the worst in town when it comes to the lawyers there. Stay away from this place, especially if you need help in family law, as they only have one lawyer who tries to do Family Law, and he doesn't speak English well, or treat women with respect.

My son had lost all his ID in the Fort McMurray fire, we had to go to a Lawyers office to get a sworn affidavit, to get Ontario Id. I had used Shuh, Cline & Grossman for my lawyer when I bought my house so I went into there office for help, Mr Grossman was able to help us out right away, and my son was able to get his ID thanks to this Lawyers office, the staff is outgoing, very helpful and friendly. If you need a great Lawyer, this is the office you need to go to!!! I will defiantly go back in the future for all my needs. 5* is not enough this Lawyer's office is a 10* plus!!

I would not recommend Gretchen Reitzel to anyone, terrible lawyer. Very unprofessional, unknowlageble. Paper pusher for sure, i was not happy witb my experience working with her. She had no compassion or understanding for my situations.
