Servpro did a complete demoulding and basement waterproofing for us. They were friendly, hardworking, prompt and professional. They took away many pieces of mouldy furniture and contents, I think above and beyond the call.
Two negatives: one day, one worker working alone carelessly dropped valuable artifacts of ours, and then placed them upside down! This upset me greatly.
But much more importantly, I TOLD the owner most clearly that the new sump pump MUST be a half h.p. and NOT a 1/3 h.p. They and their subcontractor, Dryshield of Vaughan, totally ignored me and put in a 1/3 h.p. And sure enough, in three months the whole thing bunged up and the pump ran continuously, unable to get anything out.
James did not respond to my despairing emails, so I called him. Declining to come over, he advised me to get a plumber to clear the silt out of the line, which technically wasn't in Servpro's job description. . I then, luckily in the holiday season, found one to come over that day as an emergency. With huge effort and hours of work, the big clog of silt in the line was cleared, and - glory be! - the plumber got me a top quality 1/2 horsepower sump pump. This cost me $1400, on top of Servpro's bill in the five figures.
This incident showed that the basement is indeed waterproof at last, so the longstanding flooding issue is solved, and the job is well done. When the hole was finally cleared, a tremendous amount of water poured into the hole that was held in the freshly-installed weeping tiles, sounding like Niagara Falls.
But my anger remains about the sump pump issue.

Michelle and James came to inspect our water/mold damage the. same day as our initial call...and the crew started the following day. They carefully cleaned everything and removed all damaged contents and drywall...They left the room neat and clean and dry. They were fantastic ! Highly recommend !

After going on the boat for a couple of hours we returned home to find a flood by in our cottage! Having no clue what to do I googled “Water damage restoration Gravenhurst” and came across Servpro Muskoka. I was completely panicked and overwhelmed and a lady answered my call within the second ring. I told her what happened and she responded very calmly that within a half hour someone would be there and not to worry. Within 20 mins they were at my door. Within 40 mins of my call I had a crew and machines working non stop until the situation was under control. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the immediate response. They saved my hardwood which couldn’t be match plus so much more I could go on for hours! They were polite, calm and patient with me. They explained everything they were doing and the insurance claim process. But here is what was the most important part to me. It’s very hard to find contractors a Muskoka especially when your cottage home isn’t over a million dollars! Logan, reassured me that not only would he be helping me with the flood but he would quote to help me with the repairs and work quickly to make our cottage home liveable and useable for the season. He told me he was with me every step of the way. This meant so much to me and he kept his promise! Logan and his crew has worked long hours and has been incredible adaptable to my many requests! Thank you Logan and Servpro Muskoka & Barrie for your dedication and commitment. You are the best the industry has to offer!

We are very impressed with the work done by Michelle and her team on our three storey flood at our cottage. Ceilings, floors and walls were affected, as well as a significant amount of clothing. Tear out was done with minimal mess, mold remediation was thorough. Great care was taken with our belongings and the salvageable items were dry cleaned. Michelle was efficient and communicative, providing regular updates on progress. Pricing was totally reasonable. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend Servpro Muskoka.

Wonderful experience with this company. I HIGHLY recommend Servpro Muskoka. I was blown away by their speed, efficiency and professionalism. When a water or fire disaster strikes, call this company! James, the president of Servpro Muskoka, was the project manager at my disaster site. James was very friendly, professional, calm, reasonable, understanding, and very knowledgeable. His approach to dealing with our flood gave us renewed confidence about our rebuild. James' staff members were also fantastic. The Servpro Muskoka team lifted our spirits during a very challenging time period. Their service is worth every penny! Not only did they remove all moisture and mitigate all chances of future mould issues, they were exceptionally CLEAN! Their attention to detail exceeded expectations. James and his amazing team at Serv Pro assisted me with the clean up of a sewage pump leak at my cottage. They did an incredible job, on time and in advance of renters using my cottage. James was great to work with under very difficult conditions. He put me at ease giving me the confidence that they could get my place looking and smelling clean. I am so relieved that I found Serv Pro Muskoka…if they could clean-up this mess then there is likely no job they can’t deal with. I can’t say enough about their service and quality of work!

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. I contacted Servpro due to some recent water damage and health issues. Turned out i have Mycotoxins in my system that are causing health issues. Servpro was booked and came to our home. They looked at the one bathroom on the main floor that had the obvious mould issue and went to the basement and gave us a $400 bill to say that they could treat our issues for $3700. But, they never checked the air quality, they did not respond to emails regarding what kind of mould they found (they did not do testing)- they never went to the second floor.
I did The mould swab myself and had it analyzed but don’t know a thing about mould so wanted instructions from a remediation company that was professional and knowledgeable. I’ve sent emails through their website that bounced back. Unhappy
