Heads up...Wednesday mornings is Seniors Service... They work through any senior citizens that arrive at opening before they attend to the general public, of you arrive early and are not a senior...
It'll add a fair amount of wait time to an already long wait . Busy location during my visit but the woman that looked after me this morning was knowledgeable ,professional and courteous. There were other people ahead of me and they got looked after before me... Imagine that! I got what I needed done and gathered information that I needed in order to accomplish more having moved to the province recently! Thanks! That was easy!!

Visited to Service NL to change my Ontario license . It was a walk in . On Wednesday we can walk in for any services here between 9-12 . Staff was very friendly and supportive. I had my whole work done within -40 minutes. It was busy but not crowded . They all help you . I don’t understand why people giving bad reviews.

Almost two weeks calling Motor vehicle registration, placing a new call every 15 - 30 minutes. Each time, a voice recording informs me they are experiencing a higher than normal call volume and I should call later. Totally frustrated by this extremely poor level of service. I am calling from Ontario and require MVR related information before I return home to Newfoundland.
I am now also very curious what is the "normal call volume" and exactly how much "later" should I call again.
It appears to me and it should be apparent to NL Service that they have a new "normal" volume of calls and steps should be taken (long ago) to make adjustments for this "normal volume."

Always tell you theres nothing they can do you have to come in. Always a waste of time... can never help. Worse agency ever, plus they always have an attitude.

Wallet was stolen. Left me stranded in Europe with no license, vehicle is parked at Toronto airport and have no way how to drive back to NL, I was told they cant send me a confirmation of licensure and I asked if an old picture of my license will work and they said call Ontario police to ask.

My only option was to get a friend to go into service NL office and wait for a new card to ship to my home address with an apx wait of 30 days and get my friend to forward it to me in the mail... usless

Google says it opens at 8am . On the door it says 9 am and the service NL site claims 8:30am . Now which is it ? Definitely not 8am. Harbor Grace at least
