I went into Service BC in Salmon Arm for some identification needs that I wasn't fully certain on. Amber helped me and was polite, professional, empathetic, and surpassed all my expectation. While waiting (which wasn't long) I saw other people with similar positive experiences, which is really great to see. Says a lot about the team and their training. Great job.

Turn on your phone system. So frustrating for it to always go straight to voicemail and then no one returns my call. Edit: you guys did return my calls eventually. Thank you. And I did have a great experience when I went for my license renewal appointment. Added a star.
Hopefully the phone system will be changed to actually talk to someone soon.

Absolutely shocked at the treatment that was given to my son today. Cancelled his test as he walked in to take the test. Then argued with him that he was called even when he wasn't. When he mentioned the 48 hour cancellation policy should count for them too, he was met with extreme rudeness. Then he was called to say "never mind, you can come in now". What is the point of booking these if you can cancel it the same time he walks in? What is the point of hammering the cancellation policy if you can just cancel at any point with no regard of him missing class or work? Did you forget the nervousness that goes into these tests for young people? Needless to say it did not go well and $50 later to just come back again. There is no humanity or kindness at this establishment. Incredible that you can have a public facing job and treat people like this. Do better. The world is hard enough. A little bit of kindness goes a long way. You should try it some time. One star is too generous.

Don’t take your road test here. I had the same girl who everyone has warned me about that fails everyone. I took my road test today and she told me I did one thing wrong, that was apparently when I was turning left I cut into the other lane, even though there was a car there. You will not pass your road test here all of my other friends have failed, she try’s to find ways to fail people. Super upset about this especially since it’s months in advance to book another test.

I'm not too sure who's looking at the reviews for a service BC location but I can say nice things about this one. They are always so kind in there and go as fast as they can. Sometimes they're super busy and people are impatient. But really, what can you do? I'm glad these services exist in Salmon Arm otherwise we'd have to travel to be annoyed.

My son did his drivers for the second time and failed again. The lady driving instructor is a horrible human who clearly does not like males. From what I understand she has been let go a few times, only to be hired back! She passed no one it seems and needs to find a new career. HORRIBLE woman!!! When booking ask for the male road test person! Or you will fail too!!!
