I retained this law firm to close the sale of my condo in Jan 2025 with a flat fee of $1,499, tax included. During the sale, they charged me additional $299 for some software fee used for efiling - no official receipt from the software vendor, just an unexpected line item showed up in my ledger.

After the sale, when they released my withheld funds, another $100 something was deducted from my fund without any invoice or even an explanation. When I inquired, they said it was for 1. bank charge, which was clearly included in the $1,499 I already paid so yes I got doubled charged, 2. the errand their clerk run to the bank to release my fund, so yes they will charge you that as if they hired a clerk just for your case and you need to pay for that on top of the flat fee you already paid, and 3. Accountant who was doing reporting for their clients - I am so glad that they did not charge me for their cleaning lady and sanitor as well.

So yes I signed a retainer for $1,499 and ended up paying 30% more. Think twice about these hidden charges before you retain them.

As a family we have been working with Mr. Scott for years and his services for real state has always been outstanding. Our recent deal was taken over by lawyer Ila Lateran at this firm. She basically managed to make my busy life so much easier by being so quick when it comes to responding and illustrating transparent expectations of what was necessary from our end to provide. Google has tried not to allow this post to be viewed. I am going to file a complain to law socity to stop unqoulified person like her.

I found the service provided by Ila to be highly unprofessional. Unfortunately, she appeared to lack a solid understanding of the law and offered advice that I consider misleading. It raises questions about how individuals with such limited experience are able to practice in the legal field.

Moreover, I found her demeanor to be rude, and her use of inappropriate language was unprofessional and concerning.

I believe that constructive feedback is essential for improvement, however, in her case I think, is impossible to hope for any change as she is mean and narrow-minded, and most likely this is how she was raised.

In our experience, the law firm is good at the administrative elements of residential buying/purchase such as processing the title, completing remaining bill calculations, etc. Our law clerk, Cescelie, did an amazing job by filing, communicating and getting back promptly.

In our experience, they were not helpful if you have a dispute with the opposite party. It seemed at times options given benefitted the firm more than the client. For example, it seemed they were pushing to go to Small Claims course so that the client can deal with the dispute themselves.

In one instance and our experience, we were left in a very bad spot under a tight timeline where we had to choose to sign a legal document relating to a dispute. The law firm did not underline all options, did not provide any explanations for said options, did not provide disclaimer that they weren't qualified to take this on, did not refer us to anyone else, and did not communicate back after multiple follow ups. They did almost nothing in this situation. The only upside is they tried to extend the deadline date by a few days.

As a desperate last resort, we searched online and found another law firm. They provided advice and even took on my case for free after I explained my situation to them. As a result, my situation was resolved quickly.

Seen this company on fb but they were no help they don’t offer free consultation they expect for us to pay for 30min they want 200 for an hour they want 210 ur suppost to offer free consultation to give ppl advice or help unbelievable ppl if u see “ free consultation “ thats a lie.

I had a very poor experience with the farm. I signed up for both selling and buying a new home with this farm. However my buying part had issues with some of the appliances not working on the day of closing. i contacted the office and they simply said i will have to pay more money if i want to get this looked into. I was very disappointed as this didn't feel like having any representation on my interest on closing the house. I will definitely not recommend this farm.
