My father hired Dave Ryan to handle his will and estate. My dad died last year. One year later and there's still food rotting inside the place and boxes of crackers/cereal still on shelves attracking mice and other rodents. I had asked to be allowed to go through things (After everyone had been given whatever was to be given) before throwing anything out. He was on site when I was there but had two hired help hauling stuff out of the shed to take to the dump (getting food out of place should have been the priority). After spending almost 3 hours driving up, I'm told I still can't take anything! He then tells me there won't be enough money to pay me my inheritance (but the guys hired to empty shed will be paid in full). When I walked in the smell of rotting food was bad and face up on the pillow of my dad's bed is a picture of a naked woman posing for the camera legs akimbo for a full crotch shot and boobs out. How disrespectful to not only me but the woman on display. He had the nerve to tell me he went through the photos and left some for me... a plastic briefcase safe did indeed have photos in it but none of me and it was obvious he hadn't gone through the photos....there were photos all over the place and none were organized at all. My father was married and divorced 3 times. The 3rd husband of my dad's 3rd wife has been allowed on site and he has ransacked the place( it was he who left the porn photo out for me to see). My dad would be heart broken that that man is pawing through his belongings taking whatever he wants. Dave says this is ok because my half sister has permitted it ( Dave admits he has nothing in writing from my half sister to this effect. Dave Ryan says he would give himself a high score on how he's dealt with this....he has no answering machine to leave messages, messages I've left with others in office have not been passed on, when I voiced my concerns with him today he threatened to hang up on me because he didn't want to hear me criticize his work. He was hired to protect my father's interests and has shown a shocking lack of respect for not only the man who hired him but the surviving family. Run the other way....

I called to ask for information about discharging a mortgage and was met with an agressive and unkind individual who answered the phone. I have no idea what the firms lawyers are like, but this person put me off so much I am seeking help elsewhere. Please be civil to potential new clients or you wont get any!
