Very disappointed with the student services at Red River College. My sister called for help with a genuine concern, and the representative on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of providing guidance or even attempting to find a solution, she bluntly said, “I don’t know what to do. You figure it out.” This is unacceptable behavior for a student support team. Students call because they need assistance, not to be dismissed. If this is how they treat people seeking help, it really reflects poorly on the college.

20 year old windows XP laptops to teach me how to program PLCs in a brand new "state of the art" building that can't seem to regulate it's temperature. 🤷 Meh. Could be worse. Still kind of embarrassing though.

this school is terrible. they will screw you out of degrees. they will decide to pull entire programs out from under you and give you ultimatums that are not achievable. i should have never spent a penny on this school. waste of my entire time.

Red river college recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, red river college acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.

If you're a single parent with child care and your kids get sick or if you're sick and provide a note. They will kick you out of practicum. They do not accommodate around family responsibilities. Sheila the instructor asks you about your sick note and what happened going against PHIA. Red river doesn't care about parents trying to better their life for their kids. Don't waste your money or time because they will tell you to come back and pay again to do your practicum when you have more child support. So basically when your kids are 18. They don't specify how much time time you can miss. On their website just says 240 hours clinical work. No part time, no full time. You won't know about the practicum rules until it's time for practicum, which should be stated on their site if your a parent better not bother because they wont accommodate to help you be successful. But funny thing is, they allow other students without kids to get less than 240 hours and pass them but single parents, no. They accuse you of cheating if you stay home because your kids are sick. But others without kids- Stay home and don't get accused. Health unit clerk course you basically don't learn anything, so when you get to practicum you learn things that weren't taught. My practicum checklist has a lot of N/A's that I'm not learning for the real world. Shelia the instructor treats you different in meetings compared to men. And my preceptors noticed the night and day difference. They will also tell you not to be talking to the other students about practicum because they don't want their bad behavior to get around and show their favoritism. Red river is designed to let single parents and parents in general, fail. HIGHLY WOULD AVOID and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Red river college has made my life and my children's life worse. Boycott.

Не знаю как внутри колледжа но здания оригинальные и территория большая, очень ухоженная и достаточно зелёная! Огромная парковка и на ней кстати много тренируются новые водители или ученики парковаться и водить)))
