Close to the town of Middleton. Plan on spending a couple of hours here. Bring a lunch. Beside the Annapolis river with a quiet walking path around the edge next to the water.

There are benches along the path that have tranquil views of the river and the many birds there.

I’d you are looking for a quiet park to read and enjoy nature with some exploring this is a nice place to go.

While taking a drive on Mothers Day, I found this small park on my map. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The grassy paths were a nice change from gravel. Lots of people dipping their rods in the watwr trying to get a bite. It was a very short stroll but a refreshing break from the van.

A nice park to enjoy the river from. there is a dock that you can launch kayak or canoes from which is handy. There were a lot of people fishing so I assume it's a good fishing spot. The water is dark/ tea coloured. It is a protected spot but that also means there were a lot of mosquitoes.

Great little park with a nice walk through the woods and by the river. There is a small boat launch. Free kayaks and canoe rental is available by calling the number near the launch in summer.

If you are looking for a nice little spot to unwind, then visit Riverside Park. The park boasts 7 acres of water accessible land, and is one of my favourite spots in the area! You can park there for free and pets are allowed, on a leash. There are wide walking trails which are well cared for. In the summer there are FREE canoe and kayak rentals (at least one person must be over 16 to sign waivers). They have a lovely garden, a dock, newer park benches and quiet spots to watch birds and water life. The Annapolis River is also a great little fishing spot. Shad fishermen and women are plentiful during shad season!
