After a 6 year criminal trial process and 2 very highly recommended lawyers (one from Hamilton and the other from Toronto), both asked me to take the easy way out and plead out. I didn’t commit the crime I was charged for and refused to plea to something I absolutely did not do. With a trial date set and not having a lawyer, I met with a few different lawyers before meeting Bruce. Once I met Bruce, he thoroughly explained his trial experience and never once suggested I take a plea and he never doubted my innocence. Even though there were hills to climb, we worked together to prepare my defence. Bruce’s attention to detail and the fact that I was never once treated as a criminal, I was always treated as an equal. He has a very calm demeanor which worked perfectly in my case. He is a very well respected lawyer with judges and the crown’s office (based on what I saw anyway). I put all of my trust in Bruce from the beginning and 6 years later, it has paid off. I would highly recommend Bruce. There was one court date that Bruce couldn’t attend, I was fully aware of this and was told Sarah would attend on his behalf. She was also amazing for that court date and made me feel at ease. 5 stars isn’t enough!!!!

Absolutely horrible experience. Lack of communication, zero advocating, lied about the outcome of a plea and ruined my son’s life. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I TOLD YOU we weren’t satisfied. It wasn’t until his probation officer told him that his life is ruined for SEVEN years that we knew the outcome of Sarah pushing this plea. She lied about the outcome, lied about how long it would be on his record, lied about the DNA order and lied about travel ability. We got little to no communication. Absolutely disgusted with the “representation” we received.
Will be filing a complaint with the law society.
