I liked him a lot. He had reeeally good advices for what I was going through. The only thing I would suggest is to be clear for how long you are going for, so if he goes beyond, he knows that he cannot really charge you anything extra. He can be really passionate about his stuff, and take some extra time, so that’s why I learned to be clear about how long I was going to the session for.
As per my insurance, it was tricky to claim under the right kind of therapist, but “SunLife” at least did cover him.

Dr. Richard Haney is an exemplary therapist who goes above and beyond to help people. He has helped me with numerous issues including overcoming a driving phobia, helping to resolve trauma from complex PTSD, working through interpersonal difficulties, helping to overcome others fears and many other things as through counselling and hypnotherapy. I strongly recommend his services. If you are a fan of powerful suggestion without being forced to do things, he is the man for you and can help guide you where you want to go in life. Not sure why there's a one star review on here. If the person did not like the approach used, Dr. Richard knows how to use other ones, so they could have spoken up and tried something else. Does not make a tonne of sense given my experiences with Dr. Richard.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the kindness and empathy doctor Haney I shared with me and my family. The productive conversations shared with me on how to deal with not only my issues, but those of my spouse and my children. Common sense, often we get lost in selfish feelings that life is all about me when we all have to be responsible towards each other. I am happier, my family for the past six months are much happier and closer, and this Valentine's was almost like a second honeymoon. Doctor Haney thank you. -

Don't go there, it is a fraud. He doesn't listen, he just talks about himself. He doesn't ask for clarifications if he doesn't understand you, but instead, he replies to something you didn't ask with a long aimless monologue. He prolonged the session without letting us know, and then charged us for the extra time; extra time that he spent blabbering about nonsense. Very unprofessional, a waste of time and money.
