I dread to write anything as the memory of being ripped off still stings. We were quoted $3400 to handle selling and buying our house. All the details were given and never changed. We thought all was well until we went back for our bill. I actually had to nag them to get it 2 weeks after the close.

Final bill was over $8000. At no time were we informed that it would be more, all they said was that the other people were a problem. Richard Day laughed at me twice when I said I would take it to the legal system. Said that no good deed goes unpunished.

I asked them if they took their car in and got a quote for 4k but later were handed a bill for 8k, would they be happy? They said yes, they must have found other stuff and would be happy to pay for it. I hope your mechanic reads this...

Beware of these people, they hold your money and take what they want. You don't pay their bill, they just take it out of your money.
