I purchased title insurance through the company along with having them handle the purchase of our first home. When we got our first tax bill, found out the past tenants didn’t pay their taxes. Title insurance should cover this yet we are 7 month now past our closing date and still have not had the outstanding tax amount released from the title insurance company. We have constantly had to reach out to the lawyers/law clerks to deal with this issue. I will say that the persons I have been in contact with do get back to me quickly, the law clerk assigned to my property. I’m disappointed they didn’t check this issue before hand and also that it has taken so much hounding for them to do something about it and that we still have not seen those outstanding taxes be paid.

Service was extremely bad, I had to call in to follow up on every single thing. Was never able to reach the two clerk directly, always have to call the 1800 number to get them to respond to me.They never acknowledged my email or reply to confirm they received my document. Had to keep calling in to find out I'm missing something or they pending more document. Never experienced such a service with any other company. Felt like I'm the one providing the service to them, when I'm the one paying for the service. We'll definitely not recommend to anyone I know.
