I hired RealEstateLawyers to assist me in closing my house purchase transaction. This is a typical transaction that didn't require "special treatment". We had most communication carried by email with Sr Law Clerk and her assistant. I've never directly communicated with the lawyer assigned to my case. At the beginning another lawyer reviewed the status certificate and sent me the report. I also had a scheduled online signing with a Commissioner. I called the law clerk once to clarify a couple of question - that was our only non-email conversation. There was one minor thing that could go better: the real estate agents messed up the seller name on the purchase agreement and that error was copied everywhere. I'd hope the lawyers would verify the correctness of all documents, but it was actually me who spotted the error. Luckily, it didn't cause any trouble with the closing.

This was the easiest dealing with lawyers, that I ever did. They are very responsive when you email them or call them. The paperwork was sent ahead of time for review and if I had any questions. The mobile signing, this saved me from having to go from Montreal to Brampton, I was able to pick a palce along the Quebec / Ontario Border for signing.
