UPDATE: After I posted my initial review, Shalani followed up with a call and requested that I remove it, stating it would negatively impact her business. However, I believe it’s important to share my experience to help others make informed decisions.

My initial consultation with Shalani was positive. She expressed confidence in my case and encouraged me to pursue it fully. However, once payment was made, communication drastically declined. I had to follow up multiple times through phone calls and emails, with no response. It was only after reaching out to her son that I was given her direct contact information.

She then requested an in-person meeting — which felt unnecessary, as the matters discussed could have easily been handled over the phone.

On the day of the hearing, I felt unsupported. Shalani dismissed my concerns in front of the defendant and appeared visibly frustrated during negotiations. When I asked if I could get a second opinion on the proposed settlement, she abruptly ended the call on me in the middle of the hearing.

I left the experience feeling pressured into an agreement I did not feel was fair or fully thought through. This review is not meant to be malicious but to reflect my honest experience working with her.
