I do not recommend this law firm to anyone. In short, In March of this year my wife and i contacted this firm for a wrongful dismissal case. I was advised that we appeared to have a strong case and briefly discussed the path forward before leaving a partial retainer. The lawyer was supposed to contact the company and then set up another appointment, as well as determine the amount yet required for the retainer. Over the next week we continued to send material for the pending case. That was it! No correspondence, no phone calls, not even a statement of account was ever received. Finally we were able to contact our lawyer by phone around mid July only to be told that he did not know what we were talking about and he would have to check on it and get back to us by end day. End day never came and approximately 2 weeks later we filed a complaint with the Manitoba Law Society. Then shortly after we had to file a grievance with the law society to argue to get our small retainer back! I am a Canadian Armed Forces veteran on a fixed disability income and this law firms inability to ensure professionalism within they're associates has cost my family dearly. So i have to say again, avoid this firm at all costs!
