Working with David Frechette proved to be an incredibly disappointing experience. In hindsight, I regret not seeking guidance from duty counsel at the courthouse or consulting with competent legal representation before retaining his services. Initially, I believed he had the best interests of my family at heart, but it became evident that this was not the case. I should have taken a more proactive approach by seeking advice from duty counsel, considering other legal professionals, or conducting research on the Supreme Court in BC before placing my trust solely in his expertise.

Rather than solely relying on his professional advice and opinion, I should have educated myself further, but unfortunately, I did not realize this until it was too late. I hope others can learn from my experience and avoid making the same mistake. Subsequently, I have found exceptional legal representation that has achieved more for me in the past two weeks than David did in eight months, all at a significantly lower cost.

I strongly urge you to exercise caution when considering retaining this firm, particularly David Frechette. Take your time to weigh your options and ensure you make an informed decision that aligns with your best interests.

I had a terrible experience with Nick from this firm... big waste of $5000.00 should have gone with a legal aid lawyer and would of probably worked out a lot better. Please exercise caution with this firm... NOT worth the cost or the time in my opinion.

Very disappointed with porter ramsay, they handled the legal aspects of buying my home and missed the fact the the seller’s tenants deposits was never paid back to them. Only after multiple calls in which denied being responsible did they finally do something about contacting the other parties involved to resolve the issue. They seemed to do the minimum possible and was informed by the lawyer himself that he had never actually looked at the mls sheet for our house until this problem arose 2 years after the fact. Hopefully this review warns future clients to double check porter ramsy’s works as it doesn’t seem they do.
