Tom was thorough and well prepared for the mediation. He brought his 30+ years experience to assist with the issues in dispute. I found him effective and not falling into the 'shuttling' trap, as he would provide incite and discussion about the offers and positions exchanged.

Lastly, I thought he did an excellent job expressing his view and reasons for why my position at mediation may fail, or the weaknesses of it. It is difficult to find mediators that speak frankly on their thoughts and dont pander with niceties because they are worried they will offend the parties which could hurt future business. Unfiltered advice is paramount, and assists the mediation, even if it is something I or my client do not want to hear.
