I don't know what I would have done without Wendy's advice. I flew from BC to St Thomas ON after the unexpected passing of my mother. I spent the first night in her house (which I had to sell) in total panic mode with no sleep. The next morning I called Paul Lépine's office since I found his business card in my mom's wallet (he was her lawyer when she bought the house apparently) initially just looking for her will. Right before hanging up, Wendy asked what it was I needed. I explained my situation and she laid out step by step what I needed to do and before I knew it, I had a lawyer. Wendy explained everything in simple terms, even when I asked dumb questions she remained professional and understanding the entire time. She recommended an outstanding real estate agent and to this day do not know what I would have done had I not called their office that morning; I am so thankful I did.

Paul is an excellent lawyer. He took care of my needs and delivered the results I was hoping for. His office manager Wendy was wonderful to deal with the whole time. She went out of her way on many occasions during our transactions. I will be using them for all of my legal needs going forward.

BEWARE!!
Absolute worst referral ever! Not only did they make a mistake with my mortgage payouts they were not very good with communicating what went wrong. In fact, they didn't even have the courtesy to call me to explain what happened. Instead I received a series of emails demanding I pay out of pocket for what they missed or a lein would be placed on my home. No apologies....
Even providing hard copies of what had been completed seemed like too much for this duo Many, many attempts were made to get hard copies in my hands. Finally, after months I got something.
My suggestion: run as far away from this law office as you can!!and don't look back.

Two days ago I called this office for assistance. Was told one business day a call would be returned. Again I call yesterday, again no response. I thought I would provide business to a local Port lawyer. Musy now go elsewhere.

People and professionals told me that they had never seen a mother fight for her kids this way however I give it all to mr. Lepine greatest lawyer ever. Cool calm intelligent and it took him 5 minutes in court to get what we wanted. Excellent lawyer. I would use him again and again. Actually I will. ?

No problems with the front staff. They are very professional and doing their jobs. Really well!! 🙂
