I recently purchased my first home with my partner. We were referred to Anthony Sciacchitano who was amazing to deal with. He explained everything in a detailed but comprehensible manner. His assistant Amy was responsive and very pleasant to deal with! He helped put us at ease during what is usually a stressful and burdensome process. After contacting legal aide, I was given a list of lawyers in my area that take legal side cases. I went through the list and found what I thought was going to be the best option for me. I call and ask to speak with Candice, but reception informs me she is in court and would I like to speak with her assistant. She connects me to the assistance mail box where I leave a detailed message. After a week with no return call. I phone the office again only to get voicemail once more. Again I leave a detailed message to call me back. Again days with mo response go by. Again I call and this time I get to speak to the assistant who says "yes I remember your message. It's being paid for by legal side, correct?" Yes I said! "Oh, well we no longer take legal side cases here!"

Granted you dont want to help the little person, i get it! How about at least having the descentsy and some respect to at least call back in a timely manner. My time is mo less important than yours. Also how about doing your due diligence and removing your self from the list!

House deal closed July 29 2020. Took 3+ months (with 5 plus follow-up emails) to receive paperwork on a straightforward transaction, with the excuse of "we're busy because the real estate market in town has been busy" as the reason for the delay. Errors included not reading all the financing details, which had to be pointed out and corrected prior to the deal closing. Names misspelt on both correspondence and documentation. Won't use them again.
