The mediator provided lots of information on how mediation works, his role as mediator and the processes, resources available to me and the rights of each party. It was easy to understand although I was unrepresented by counsels.
Mediator also did not use BIG legal terms that can be intimidating. I had no such feeling at all. It was based on simple and plain language. I find the mediator performed professionally
My part was to explain my side of the story and the sequence of events that took place.
The rest is left to common sense of parties to resolve claim while mediator does not make ruling, judgements or orders but provided the platform for each party to resolve at this stage.
And his un-bias and independent role is provide that "guidance" to let each party sees the other side of the story only.

Our strata corporation hired Mr. Johnson to investigate a bullying and harassment complaint made against three council members and one owner. The investigation was a disaster based on hearsay names spelled wrong witness were not interviewed, etc. many pages of the report were unreadable did not seem to know who his client was. We had to get a CRT ruling to see the report. Don’t waste your time or money.
