I had an extremely poor experience with this law firm. I inquired about work that I wanted done, and I was not told that I was being charged for the information given during the inquiry stage. When I saw the actual quote for the work I decided against moving forward with the work. I did not sign their legal retainer document. The Law firm still proceeded to charge me without ever informing me that I was being charged. There is no pricing on their website. Without the company informing you. The only way to get pricing is to "request pricing". This removed anyway for me to have had informed consent, and actually agree to the charges. I was charged their "fee"(with a discount), I was charged for ID verification: without being told beforehand that I would be charged for this. I was even Charged for docusign? (Is that even legal? Do you have a license to charge for that?) Once I saw this lawyers $475/hr price, I decided that I did not want to pay for the work. I never spoke to the lawyer in a working capacity But I was still charged without informed consent. It is my personal opinion that you should avoid this law firm at all cost. It also took over a week to get my refund after I had requested it. This in my opinion is very unprofessional. I will also be reporting this to the law society. I agree that you can charge your clients, but they must be informed of charges before you decide to charge them. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had with a professional organization. I would give zero stars if possible.
