I recently exchanged my British Columbia driver's license for a Newfoundland driver's license. The process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although I had to wait around two hours because I did not book an appointment, I appreciated the efficient ticket system. While waiting, I received a notification that my turn was approaching, which allowed me to grab a coffee at a nearby McDonald's.

There’s no point in making an appointment here. Made one, get there and was told that my appointment didn’t exist because I didn’t confirm it an hour in advance and I would have gotten an email. There was no email. I was given a walk in number. In the 10 mins I’ve been sitting here I’ve heard the lady give the exact same speech to 3 other people “you had to confirm, I can give you a walk in number, it won’t be long” after being told that there was no email. I dread going to this place.

I visited the Motor Registration Division to exchange my Korean driver's license (in English) for a Canadian driver's license. I arrived at around 8:30 AM and was able to enter. A male staff member checked my documents and informed me that I needed to bring the original copy of my work permit instead of the e-copy. I returned with the original work permit, and he immediately registered me in the queue and provided the necessary forms to complete. His service mind was truly excellent.

Next, I met with an agent at the counter (she). Since my case was a bit special (I am a Korean citizen, and Korea and Canada have a mutual driver's license exchange agreement), I explained my situation. She was very busy helping me, going above and beyond to ensure everything was handled properly.

In the end, everything was successfully completed. I am very satisfied with the service provided by this Motor Registration Division. They did their job perfectly, and I truly appreciate their professionalism.

Said they never received a fax yet I had a confirmation sheet that said they did, I rechecked the number for the fax and it was correct. Had to hand deliver the paperwork because I realize they can’t be trusted, someone is not doing their job, do better.

I had my road test today.. and I took classes from aplus driving school, no doubt they are best , I had before test rides two times before my test and they went well just because I was not nervous. According to my school plus me, I could pass. They thought I would pass that’s why they asked me to take test else they are really straight forward in everything.THE LADY WHO TOOK MY TEST WAS SO RUDE. No smile only rude commands I know I did mistakes no matter I did because I got nervous. And that’s pretty much common for everybody but the person who is examining us should at least be smiling. That makes a lot more difference.
Best of luck to everybody who’ll face her for their exams.

Get yourself an appointment and save yourself a lot of hassle. I was in and out within less than 15 minutes. Seating is abundant yet not nearly enough, however, and it's a little hot inside. The staff I dealt with though were exceptional and really kind
