Won't ever use again. Gave them a retainer for business services....which they completed. Rob informed me there was money left over and would I like a refund or keep in trust for estate planning. I said leave in trust as I "was" happy with service to that point. Then I recieved my first letter and called and yet again instructed to leave money in trust. Rob...nor the girl I spoke with informed me there was a fee to send me letters twice a year. Nor...up until I recieved a statement of account recently did any letter say there was a fee. Surprise ...recent statement shows all but $200 of the money is gone from trust account in fees. When I called I got a snotty receptionist who basically said they have too. Great...why was it never mentioned ? I would have said send me a refund back in 2019. I get nothing with a law office is free...nor do I expect it. That said I should have been informed their is basically a semi annual fee to administer as the girl said..."paper"

Yes I was a client as part of an estate settlement I had power of attorney for my dad. You took over files from Peter Millard who was an incompetent lawyer, and your office moved at a snails pace to get things done. So slow that a justified complaint to the law society was warranted.

My dad was a client as part of an estate settlement. Multiple letters were sent by his lawyer to get some action since Peter Millard an incompetent lawyer couldn’t get the job done with 1.5 years sitting on the work. Your response time was just as bad. The law society does have expectations for lawyers to follow. Understand English a law society complaint was warranted with no responses it wasn’t filed . An official complaint was launched against Peter Millard.

7.2-5: A lawyer shall answer with reasonable promptness all professional letters and communications from other legal practitioners that require an answer, a lawyer shall be punctual in fulfilling all commitments.
