I do not recommend McKillop Insurance & Registry Services Inc. The staff were nice but not knowledgeable about the driver's license renewal process. I had an unusual renewal case, but instead of seeking assistance, they only did an online search and were unable to issue my renewal.

I went to another registry in the south, where they handled my case properly by confirming with the province and issuing my renewal without any issues. I wish they had put in more effort to research and assist customers instead of relying on assumptions.

Disappointing Experience – Verbal Abuse & Poor Management Response
I am absolutely appalled by the treatment an Indigenous youth faced while attempting to complete their learner’s test at this location. Instead of providing a supportive and respectful environment, staff subjected the youth to verbal abuse, creating an uncomfortable and distressing experience.
What’s even more disappointing is the complete lack of action from management. When concerns were raised, they were either dismissed or handled with indifference, showing a total disregard for accountability and customer care. No young person should have to experience such treatment, especially in a setting meant to support learning and personal growth.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on both the staff and management. I strongly urge higher authorities to investigate this matter and implement proper training to ensure this never happens again. Until then, I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those from Indigenous communities who deserve respect and fairness.

I have dealt with this insurance compamy in the past. I switched insurance compancies since, however I am sad that I had to hear that my niece had to go through an incidenct with a lady at McKillop as she did. I feel with being in the blackfoot territory, the employees should educate themselves on the injustice done to indigenous people. I feel like it only made matters worse, and I hope things are dealt with accordingly.
