The experience went from ok, to not so bad, to pretty good, to horrific. Do your homework and read the reviews. The days I'd wait for replies to calls or emails was unacceptable - yet I politely dealt with that regardless of my frustration or stress with timelines. If your matter is urgent, go elsewhere. I never felt once like a priority, but rather was treated more like a burden.
All this is just the tip of the iceberg. I had success with them in my matter, yet I am still very unsatisfied. The shell game with invoices is jaw dropping. If I could give a zero star review I would.

Once again, I'm compelled, to advise of another Criminal situation this Firm is involved in. The First {1} situation is still on-line. The Second {2nd}, is currently before a Criminal court, in Saskatoon. The people beside me, for their own reasons, made the choice to take a Steel Hammer to my vehicle. Said vehicle, was turned off, unmanned in my driveway. As typing the damage, as a result of this VIOLENT CRIMINAL act is just under $ 15,000.00. The criminal lawyer on this file, is the same lawyer as in my earlier comment. In essence, the family who's committing these Violent Criminal acts, in society. Is a gift to the Mckercher Law firm, that keeps on giving, in more billable hours. The strategy of the McKercher Lawyer, is the exact same DEVALUE me the VICTIM, into a WORTHLESS Human that can NOT find their way home at night. While singing the legal National Anthem, “ LOOK HERE… DON’T LOOK HERE”, The McKercher lawyer has the position, that the victim is the true cause, of this entire situation.…Please think of this, did the Victim, ask for this to happen, did the Victim place the Steel Hammer, into the persons hands. Did the victim, encourage this to happen of course not. The Police, did a detailed neutral investigation, criminally charging this person. Now; sadly the McKercher Lawyer is trying to position the Criminal Court into a "WRESTLING MATCH"… where a "BACK ROOM" deal is trying to be struck. With NO INPUT of/from the Victim. The actions of the McKercher Lawyer, DID NOT help, this accused, now a criminal. With the facts not in dispute, the accused, plead guilty. It's documented the Violence is BECOMING so aggressive the people charged are going to KILL ME… it appears the actions of this convicted person, are heading into the Third {3rd} round, thus more billable Hours for McKercher Law. Well, just to add Team McKercher, will have more billable Hours shortly. As the convicted Criminals Husband, is being investigated in another CRIMINAL act against me...this family is a gift that keeps on giving...in billable Hours.

Their services are fine and their legal counsel is very knowledgeable but email response times are very slow and getting updates takes a long time.

You can expect delays in getting things resolved and some counsel make you feel like you're low priority. A simple email response, which only takes minutes, isn't an unreasonable ask.

I was very frustrated not knowing the state of things. I waited over a week with no response to emails and multiple calls.

This review is to Lawyer James T. Sproule. Last week, I was helping two Chinese parents whose son died suddenly. Through another Lawyer, we came to Lawyer James on Thursday afternoon. The parents wanted to return to China as soon as possible, but the legal issue was complicated. James squeezed time for them in his busy schedule, especially since his assistant was away that day.
