I am disappointed with this tax service. The office staff and preparers are pleasant and courteous, however It took almost 3 weeks to get a simple set of tax returns done in June - I've never used a tax service before, but that seemed quite long.

When I reviewed the finished return at home, I discovered that there was a major mistake that would have cost me about $5,000 if I had not discovered it. When I pointed out the error there was no apology and no explanation

I was further frustrated that after reviewing the return with the preparer, it was announced that I would be charged an additional $80 for the 1 hour consultation time. I discussed with the owner the fact that (1) if I had been given a copy of the Federal Worksheet to take home, most of my questions about apparent discrepancies would have been eliminated and (2) it seemed pretty tacky to charge an additional fee AFTER the preparer had made a pretty significant error. The owner argued and provided no customer service.

They left me high and dry 3 days before the tax deadline with no fault of my own when I was traveling overseas after placing my complete faith in them. I had to scramble to file my taxes on my own while I was away just because they couldn't explicitly communicate that any delays from my employer's end in generating an amended W2 (W2-c) will result in their total refusal to file my taxes.

Customer service and clarity in communication trumps all the knowledge and expertise you may have in filing cross border taxes. I will never go back to them again, and this is after I was referred to go to them.

Contacted the office for details we spoke to a male with an accent Pakistan. We were referred to this office due to a retirement. The office person told us that we would be paying $65 senior price he had asked a couple questions our tax returns are straight forward. We dropped off advising us 2 to 3 days, not the case I understand it is a busy time. We picked up and charged $85 each as we were not 65 years old for an entire year. The office person when we initially spoke neglected to advise us of that rule. The office can use some TLC thank god the doors automatically open. One and done!

Tried to drop off income tax and was told not accepting any they have too many? Been a loyal customer for years, and turned away from a business who"s job it is to do income taxes. Will find another business who appreciates their customers. Rated F

Wish I would have read the reviews before going. I was referred there due to my normal guy retiring. Very unprofessional office they’re also not friendly at all. Definitely won’t be returning or recommend to anyone!!

Paid over 300$ to have my spouses taxes and mine done for 2 years.
I KNEW something was wrong when the “owner” was going over the paperwork with me and I mentioned it to him that it didn’t make sense and I was rest assured by the “professional” that it was fine and that’s just what it is…

One year later turns out I was right and they didn’t do their due diligence to inspect and help me and now I’m facing additional issues due to them being careless and lazy. The owners refusing to take accountability and not even having the nerve to call me back- has to have priya who wasn’t even there tell me I’m out of luck.
My new tax lady mentioned this error to me saying to go get a refund because they messed up and would have been easy to catch and fix at the time- but they didn’t care.

I Definitely don’t recommend. Nothing but a mess and a headache. Dragging my 1 year old out in the rain to go to their office for them to tell me oh well.. so disappointing. Enjoy my 300$ I guess

My employer submitted 2 t4s accidentally, I UNDERSTAND THAT, but if I’m paying “PROFESSIONALS” 300+ dollars and it’s something you don’t typically see you would think you could take ONE EXTRA SECOND OF YOUR TIME— ESPECIALLY because I brought to your attention that something was wrong But the “reassurance” telling me that the doubled income was “Covid pay” (when it wasn’t!!)
WHY continue to file as if everything was normal because now a year later this is now effecting my household and my 1 year old.
I asked for my money back because it went to waste using your “services” because you couldn’t even catch an error for your customers..

Very impatient office. They don't care to give any explanations whatsoever questions you ask them. Too rude. They just want you to pay the money and leave the file. Very bad experience. Would never go back again.

In the past I had a wonderful experience with Maurice Morneau Tax and often recommended them so I was shocked when I recently called regarding bookkeeping services and immediately had the phone hung up on me. I treat people with kindness and don't expect much but hanging up the phone on a business that is simply inquiring about a service you advertise is never called for. Disappointing ☹
