I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities provided by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) that transformed my family’s life. We applied from our home country and successfully moved to Canada in 2017 with Landed Immigrant status.

Upon our arrival, the Manitoba START program was instrumental in helping us acclimate to our new environment. It offered essential orientation that made starting a new life in Manitoba much smoother.

As someone who had experience in the Film and TV industry back home, I was thrilled to quickly find work in the local sector. This seamless transition into my career allowed me to continue doing what I love, and I am proud to say that my efforts culminated in being awarded the Best Sound prize at the Canadian Screen Awards for our work on the TV series Little Bird (Crave) this year.

Becoming a Canadian citizen in 2023 has been a significant milestone for me and my family. Reflecting on our journey, I feel immense gratitude for the MPNP and the dedicated officers and employees who supported us every step of the way. Their commitment to helping newcomers is truly commendable, and I can confidently say that our success story would not have been possible without their guidance. Thank you, Manitoba Thank you MPNP!

After reading most of my reviews it is my understanding that most viewers concern is why their call is not answered. Well first of all you should never call on first place, You will virtually file all answers on line. Only complaint people have whey their applications are not processed and approved. Well it takes time to assess an application. It is not time to call to get answer of your problems or concerns. Answers are already there you just want to listen from a person from office. It is better to send an e-mail you will get response as it is received not based on your time line or expectations.

MPNP doing a great job over years to help us all out! Please keep some decency when writing to immigration office that welcomed so many people!!!
Please do not label as racists those who aid people fleeing from war, have some empathy! The office literally provides people with a chance for a new life without war; What are you blaming them for
Remember the good this office has done for all nations throughout its history and do not forget it.
Big respect for the minister who’s working every day, fixing the problems, clearing backlogs, to help everyone! We just have to wait! Thanks for all hard work.

I called many times at different time of day They never pick up the call. it’s been a year since I submit my application, last time they send me an email was this February, now is July. I just want a answer from them, if the application doesn’t go through I might as well start packing up and book my ticket back home. But no, nothing, no answer, no reply, no email, nothing. What are they even doing in this freaking office? Probably just drink coffee eat donuts every day

One of the best Government of Manitoba offices. I really appreciate their efforts during covid times. The agents on phones are super helpful. I am very happy with their customer service. I really do appreciate how their service has changed over the years. Happy with short wait times on the phone. They are very supportive and super quick at problem-solving.

Unfortunately very negative experience, applications take a long time to process. It is associated with uncertainty, which has a great impact on family life. Because of this, many people return to their country of origin, which makes employers in Canada angry. Now we have reached the point where, after almost 5 months of waiting, we have not received any response to our requests. And that's why I'm planning a return trip to Germany after 1.5 years. Our neighbors are already on their way back. It's a shame for Canada, which currently doesn't prioritize people who are already in Canada and working.

Don’t care about people who working for 2, 3 years and still waiting for draw ..( who paid more tax then people studied in Manitoba)

For the Online team, I would appreciate the help they provided me with clarifying some questions (2 stars are for the online team). But I have waited over 30 mins to talk to someone in the office and as usual no one responded. I just called them few minutes a ago and trust me, does not matter what time of the day you call. They will never pick up the damn call. I am very disappointed by the customer service they provide.
