My daughter visitors permit was approved and then refused on the same day after waiting months for an answer. The email stated she had to leave or I had a limited amount of time to recover her status here in Canada. She had just completed high school here in Ontario, and being an international resident, I undertook the advice of a non-immigration personnel and also put in for an open work permit. I made a huge mistake, international residents leaving high school had to continue their education at a college. So the open work permit was refused and her visitor permit which was applied for months before the work permit application were refused. In a panic I searched online for a reputable Immigration Law firm to help me. I read the reviews and immediately contacted the this firm and praying as I was panicking. I made an appointment for consultation and my hope began to blossom from there. After the consultation and being told what my options were I began working closely with the firm team to recover my daughter status. I was not sold any false hope. Then we applied for a visitors permit so she could stay with me, here in Canada, that was approved. She could remain with me but could not go to school nor work. So that was two sets of applications and fees. Then with continued support of the firm we put in for another study permit at an approved college, paid all fees both at the college and the firm. The firm study permit expert lawyer ensured all documents they may request were submitted, we received an approval. My faith in the process and the professional team is second to none. I prayed and cried every step of this process asking God to step in to humble the hearts of all those making decisions about our application regarding my daughters status and study permit.
