Our family hired Lundrie & Company for a property purchase, trusting in their professional diligence. We were later shocked and distressed to discover that a critical, fundamental characteristic of the property – the fact that it contained a manufactured home – was completely missed during their handling of the purchase. This oversight has significant implications that we now have to deal with.

What truly compounded our distress was the firm's response when we brought this serious oversight to their attention. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering constructive solutions, their written response was dismissive, appeared to shift blame onto others (including us, the clients), and claimed ignorance because basic documents didn't explicitly state the obvious. This lack of accountability and professionalism was disheartening.

Dealing with the fallout of this initial oversight, and especially the firm's subsequent handling of our concerns, has caused our family immense and unnecessary stress. This has been particularly difficult as it adds significant burden during a time when my father is already facing serious mental health challenges.

We expected a baseline level of competence and professional responsibility that, in our experience regarding this matter, was severely lacking. We are left feeling let down and forced to seek further help to address problems that should have been identified initially. We cannot recommend this firm based on our experience.

I sold and bought condos a few months ago and I had Lundrie & Company lawyer, Josephine as my lawyer for both selling and buying. I will for sure recommend her to others. Lundrie & Company got a competitive market price for their services. In some places (both lawyer and notary firms), which I have personally experienced before, you might not even see the lawyer or the notary in the whole process but only the assistants that do the work. With Lundrie & Company, I actually got to sit with Josephine for both my selling and buying transactions and she went through the documents with me when signing and patiently answered my questions. The assistant ladies at Lundrie & Company were organized and helpful as well, will for sure recommend them!

Wow after looking for a tax lawyer with "competitive rates" during these Covid times this company replied with a $300 an hour rate to deal with "personal taxes".
That means the lawyer makes $2400 a day. I make that every two weeks.
I would hire this company at any time and I'd encourage no other hard working tax payer to either. It's bad enough to work with CRA and then this! Sad very very sad.
