Like many other 1 star reviewers here are saying, I highly suggest not using this firm. We were referred to them by our real estate agent to close on a property and purchase a property. First of all their retainer was too high to start. We encouraged multiple errors the most egregious being that they did not include our bridge loan and they included some mysterious renovation charge and which resulted in a much larger down payment. We flagged these issues but they continued to come up. They wanted us to use wires instead of bank drafts and certified cheques. This cost us 45 a pop twice and then they wanted an e-transfer. They wanted us to make payments before even balancing the ledger to see how much is even owed. Jadi Genita has no idea what she is doing. Her math skills, communication skills and her customer service skills are horrible. Sanaam, the lawyer, is a fraud. Just avoid.

Bill and his team helped us with the closing of our house. Everything was done online so we didn't need to drive into the office. Bill called me on the phone to explain exactly what would happen and the accounting of each closing cost item. He's the third real estate lawyer I've worked with and he is by far the most transparent and helpful. I didn't feel stupid asking questions, and because he explained everything, I knew what questions to ask. His team is responsive and reliable.
