Mr. Reid and his staff are absolutely phenomenal. My family has been faced with an extremely difficult situation this last couple years and they have been nothing but patient, understanding and very helpful throughout this whole process. We have never been through anything like this before and I really don't know how we would have gotten through this without Mr. Reid and Ms. Graham.

I had David Reid represent me for a recent family law issue regarding a separation and property settlement. I received great treatment from David and his team. They responded in a timely manner, and were friendly and personable. I felt comfortable around them and they broke down every step along the way which in the past I have had negative experiences from lawyers where they don’t treat their clients with any respect or dignity. I would recommend David and his team to my friends and family! He made a difficult process a bit better and I am thankful for that.

Would give negative stars if possible. David Reid is the most unprofessional lawyer I've ever met. I went to him trying to get an application for custody of my daughter. After wasting time on my application I eventually was served and became the Respondent in a custody battle. He had the audacity to tell me it didn't matter! This law firms neglect to my case and slow response times cost me a year in court and wasted time. I eventually hired another lawyer and my case was finished in three months no thanks to Mr Reid. I'm not sure how he sleeps at night or how the upper law society of Canada has not disbarred him. Choose carefully and research your lawyers as this guy has no business being one.

I would question the legitimacy of any account giving a positive review of this firm.

We found that David and Wendy were very professional and friendly. They were quick to respond to us and set out minds at ease. They also had to deal with a very difficult other side and seen through the untrue things that were being said. I did notice that the other side put up a very nasty comment on here and I guess when you don’t get what you want you throw a little tantrum. A big thumbs up to David and his team for dealing with this in a very classy way. David came very highly recommended to us and we have and will continue to recommend him and his team. Thank you David and Wendy for you great work!

David along with his law clerk appeared to be disorganized. They appeared to Ignore every email then would turn around and said they never got an email from opposing party. The abuse he allowed his client to do to the children involved was awful.However as a lawyer you have a duty to control your clients behaviour and to follow the law. If you want to be represented by an unorganized group and have your case in the courts for years and all money gone then this is your lawyer.

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. I have never in my life been treated so poorly from someone I was bringing my business to. There was clearly a miscommunication between Cheryl and I but instead of her treating me like a human being, I had to sit on the phone and listen to her belittle me. It was such a minor error. My children were within ear shot and their jaws hit the floor. They could not fathom a person speaking to another person in such a rude way. I was a repeat client too. I will never bring another dime of my business to this law firm if it was the last one on earth. From word of mouth, this seems to be the consensus. What a terrible way to do business in such a small community.

Extremely poor representation always had to chase this office for documents did most of the work for them had to go wright my own affidavit and spent 5 hours in the office when my affidavit was to be finished 3.5 months prior was given a law student under David Reid. Greame luck. I strongly advise anyone who is actually wanting to see progress and to have proper representation to go look some where else

Midnight Society

Had family member in a complicated situation with many charges. Located David Reid by recommendation of duty council in Goderich Ontario (after said family member had been denied bail and detained). LittleMasonReid - was quick to contact back. He seemed very understanding and confident that something could be done to help my elderly family member and even offered to take a lower then usual retainer (i felt more comfortable paying the full retainer). All said and done. after a month of postponing court dates and fumbling around setting up a bail hearing review. David informed me that he wasn't very confident in our chances with little to no explanation (after LOTS of reassurance toward a reduction of some degree). Immidiately I started contacting "better" higher paid lawyers within the area. Upon finding one I was satisfied with - they reached out to let David know they would be handling the case from here on out (as did I through email). David conveniently let me know I owed him 5000+ dollars and would hold my documents until paid. Save your $.. don't go cheap.. unless you want to be misled by this friend of the crown.

I am not asking for miracles - im asking for accurate information/representation/and communication.. and I can't help but feel and say I haven't recieved a single shred of honest communication during this entire 5500 dollar transaction to acquire some kind of bail for my family member.

I hope this helps future possible patrons from further heartache and further financial damage.
