Proudly taught and mentored by Helen in her Hybrid models of Dispute Resolution training. Having taken both her Essentials and Quint-Essentials courses, I can confidently say she’s a true “knowledge keeper”! I participated in the recent introductory course put together by Helen. I am not a fan of zoom structured meetings and on line learning for numerous reasons so I was somewhat skeptical as to how user friendly, interactive and informative this course would be. I have to say I was over the top pleased and surprised at how well the content flowed. How easy it was to participate and how much I learned. Having taught several unrelated courses myself, in the past, I find this course to be extremely well put together. The forum was very interactive, the content was logically delivered and Helen's time management was the best I have ever had the pleasure of participating in. I have enrolled in the next level and can't wait to be part that group. Helen is clearly passionate about what she does and I highly recommend anyone interested in dispute resolution to consider her courses.

Helen Lightstone is an amalgamation of vast knowledge and battle tested experience, gifted in the art of teaching. She makes her expertise in facilitation look easy, while breaking things down play-by-play to make even the shyest of students, not only thrive, but believe in themselves. The craftsmanship of a negotiated or mediated agreement can be a tumultuous one, but Helen will introduce you to hands on learning that will equip you with the tools to find out that there can always be a better way. A way that can bring together a mutually beneficial agreement to a once toxic relationship – whether it be a workplace or civil matter. Helen knows what matters. As a former student and success story of being graciously mentored by Helen, I was able to receive the skills necessary that would bring me a paralegal diploma, a paralegal license, and of course well on my way to earning the designation as a qualified mediator. Helen is a superb teacher, mentor and person. I was enrolled in her month long Advanced Mediation course and I enjoyed it tremendously.
