Light of the Prairies Centre was the perfect location for our corporate retreat with 14 attendees! The facilities were excellent – from the high-quality projector and comfortable chairs to the whiteboard and breakout rooms that allowed for easy collaboration. The entire property has a calming, zen-like atmosphere that set the tone for a productive and relaxing week. The food was absolutely outstanding! Isabelle was incredibly kind and talented, and her presence in the house added a special touch to our experience. Every meal and snack was made from scratch, and several attendees remarked they’ve never eaten so well. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. We can’t recommend this place enough!

A real blessing! I had a much needed quiet get away in the light green cabin. I spent two nights and went mainly for solitude, reflection and worship. The space was clean and well kept. Huge property not far from the city - a bonus for me! There were benches scattered about as well as a hammock. I dozed off in the hammock after enjoying a walk and an apple from the tree on the grounds. I wish I could've stayed the whole week! Cathy was available by text, but I felt like it was my property as I had freedom and didnt encounter anyone lol! It would be awesome if there was a pool or hot tub and some maintenance to the pond. I definitely would return to light of tge prairies. Thank you Cathy!

What a wonderful place to unwind. The little Blue House is a welcome treat equipped with everthing you need for a relaxing stay. If you're looking for a quiet place, sounds of nature at your door, this is it. Go on your own mindfulness/spiritual journey through the Labyrinth as you release unwanted negative energy, worry and anxiety. Listen to nature sing as you sit by the pond. Find Spirit in this place. Staff are accomodating and friendly. Will definitely come again!! Thank you Light of the Prairies!!

What a beautiful location for a weekend retreat. I stayed in the green cabin for two nights. It was comfortable and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful, calm and peaceful. Also very convenient. Just a short drive from the city. I highly recommend!

We came to Light of the Prairies as a group of six. Our stay was perfect. We had to be away for long days, but when we returned there was delicious food, a place to gather in the evenings, and warm comfortable accommodations. We had special dietary needs to accommodate and our lovely hostess went to amazing lengths to feed everyone, even when we were often late for dinner! Best of all was the feeling of welcome. I highly recommend this retreat center.

What a blessing this place was. I took a personal retreat for 2. Just me and the Lord. A place were it is comfortable to isolate from distactions of the world and just focus on you and God. Places of solitude are so valuable and cherished. The labaryth was amazing the walk trough with the Lord. A wonderful little blue house with eveything you could ever need so you can just focus on you and your relationship. A beautiful sunrise and a pond to rfect and pray beside. I feel all soft and squishy again.
