Good in the Past but going downhill Fast.
We used their services for our will a few years ago, Brian seamed to be in-charge of things and we thought he did a good job at a reasonable price.
As a result we recommended him to our daughter and son-in-law for some of their business matters.
Then in December of 2024 we went back to Brian with a request to prepare an eviction notice on a residential rental property, to be served early in January of 2025
After waiting until end of January we contacted Liddell office and were advised that the lawyer appointed to write up the notice had been away on holidays and nothing had been done
We let Liddell office know that we were very disappointed with the delay, then they rushed to get something out to us by email, on review of the documents they sent, we found several obvious errors including several simple typing errors that needed to be corrected. When we complained about the obvious errors, they replied "just make the changes yourself and send it out"
After that we requested an in office meeting to get things sorted out. Finally it was into March of 2025 before the corrections were made and the evictions sent out by email
Then they had the gall to invoice us additional fees over and above the $2,500.00 retainer, because they had to make corrections to the poorly prepared documents, Very disappointed.

Cary is so kind and friendly, plus she's a great lawyer. We've had experience with Cary with estates, wills, and real estate. Never had so much as a hiccup. I contacted Liddell Law on a recommendation from family to help with a separation. I felt there was something amiss when I was told there is a first visit consultation fee, which is unusual. My experience was far less than satisfactory, having to contact my lawyer to progress the file as there was no urgency or consideration. Be prepared to follow -up with your lawyer to get an update or determine next steps. Booking a follow-up appointment was painful and even jumping through that hoop will leave you waiting for over one half-hour before you will be seen. After no response from my email inquiry, I terminated our business relationship. Miraculously after contacting them to fire them, the deliverable was "ready", but not in the agreed upon format or timelines.
My recommendation is to keep looking, you can do better when looking for assistance in family law.

I understand that Covid has put a wrench in business dealings, but wow! After emailing our finished Will questionnaires, I was told we needed a two hour meeting with Cary. Both my husband and myself took time off work, and when we arrived at the office they double booked the conference room so they canceled our meeting. The next time I booked a meeting, the receptionist omitted to tell me the office had recently moved locations. Furthermore, she omitted to mention the meeting was a phone conference. Later, when speaking with Cary about this meeting mishap, I learned that the meeting was to be only for one hour not two. I was under the impression the meeting was for two hours, and I arrived late to the wrong office. Not once through this meeting fiasco was there an apology. You can sure tell they are lawyers - admit no wrong - Needless to say - we did not get our wills done.
