I have been renting space at The Lantern for more years than I can count offhand. They are both professional and visionary, always determined to match the best possible space and circumstances to our needs. The Lantern recognizes that there is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and that some tenants are not in a position to pay the full retail rate. Our mindfulness and meditation group has been meeting there weekly for years, and they have been more than generous in extending a discount that works for us.

I have used this place regularly for a couple of years now always without a hitch, always clean,always ready to go. Great people to work with. If you need to rent a space, I would highly recommend what The Lantern has to offer.

I attended an event at the Lantern. It is more like a rented space with a stage. You get exactly what you ordered for! Overall, I would say it is a good rental space for small events like prom, balls or even conferences with a crowd of 100-150 guests.

If hosting big events with over 200 people then you will need to look for a bigger space.

The Lantern is the perfect place for any event. It has multiple rooms of many different sizes with abundant parking. The staff is absolutely the best to work with. Weddings, birthdays, showers, retirement parties, weekly events, non-profit stuff etc. Kitchen on site, cater or cook yourself…

Good for small gatherings (ballpark 60 people). Feels like the cleanest school gym I've sat in. Bathroom facilities are easily accessible. Front entrance is not accessible due to steep steps.

Such an important cornerstone of the health, wellness and spiritual well-being movements in the province. Thank God for this place! If you are lucky enough to be invited to something happening here, you should count your blessings. It is a wonderful space supporting an amazing community.

I remember coming here when it was known as The Elementary School… Presentation. I must say it looks well cared for and loved… What a great atmosphere. Feeling nostalgic.
