My surgery was on September 26, and I would like to share how impressed I was with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, kind, and professional. The nurses and registration team provided the best care and support, which immediately made me feel comfortable and less anxious before the procedure. The hospital is very clean and has such a friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Azer performed my surgery, and everything went wonderfully. I am truly grateful for the excellent care I received.

I had my tonsillectomy here last week. I have never had such amazing care in a hospital. Everyone was so kind and caring. Hospital was clean and organized. I felt very safe and comfortable through the whole procedure.

By reading the reviews I must have hit an off day today because Iam not impressed.The hospital is ok.I was taken into emergency at 1145 am The reason that I went is because it is May long week end aka Victoria Day .Yesterday on Saturday I woke with a real sore tonsils,throat,ears ,a headache and a terrible sore neck.Like I could hardly turn my head to the right.I self medicated with Advil Cold tablets 3 over the course of the day.Today woke and nothing had changed my throat was hurting something terrible and the glands under my ears are swollen. Well What A Surprise as I was seen by a Doctor just to be told there is nothing wrong with me or my neck,throat, ears or tonsils.For some background info Iam 71 y.o.a senior and I am I good shape and healthy but in the last five years I have only seen a doctor twice and they were check ups.Not exactly abusing the Alberta health system.
Iam a little tired of how seniors are treated.Its not like Iam over using Antibiotics. So what's the big deal.We it comes from the Top of AHS.They can pay millions for useless CEO s and then millions in law suits but average people are somehow abusing the heath care system. The Doctor had the odacity to tell me to wait until I get worse the come back to the Hospital. Funny thing is my people built and supported this hospital since it was build. My ancestors came to Chipman in about 1895 and Iam the fourth generation on the farm.
You know that if I run my farm like this there would be sick animals everywhere waiting to get Antibiotics when they get worse.Danielle Smith should send some under cover people into these hospitals to see what is going on
My Diagnosis:Wait until you get more sick then come back.
Bypass Lamont Hospital Completely is my Suggestion

My fiancee had a procedure booked here. A simple but invasive procedure to take care of a long standing issue that effects her health and quality of life.

She was informed a week before surgery that they would not be performing the surgery because "We are a small clinic and we don't have the required anesthesia to accommodate you. Have you considered going on Ozempic before having the procedure so it can be done safely? We aren't comfortable performing the procedure as it stands now."

Disgusting! The person who called her was rude and made her to feel terrible about herself. The way she is being treated is unacceptable and absolutely heartbreaking. No wonder people struggle with body image issues.

This procedure is being done to address an issue that has caused unexplained health complications. It has nothing to do with lifestyle.

Furthermore, we both booked time off work and I was flying across the country to support her during her recovery.

We have reached out to their executive team for resolution. We will NOT be back in down from this. I'm not above getting the media involved.

Shame on this business and anyone who makes patients feel like this.

Very organized, kind organization. Front staff always smiling and puts you at ease. Day surgery staff was phenomenal and very good bed side manner. When I was coming to from my procedure, the nurse (amerest- hope I spelled her name correctly) was so soft spoken. I can feel her care. My surgical team was comforting and also it me at ease. They were all phenomenal.

Amazing care! Two weeks ago, I went to the one day surgical area and every person received my husband and me with a smile and a kind care. Rachel and Kiara were super helpful and extra kind. The surgical team was so nice! A week later, Loraine followed up with my procedure and asked me how I was feeling and reminded me about my next visit with my obigyn. My only words are thank you so much for your kindness and soft manners. Congratulations to the hospital for having such a good team together! 🤩

I just had my second cataract surgery at the hospital and the staff were great. The ladies at the front desk were great at making you feel welcome and the nurses in the day ward were exceptional. Overall it was a good experience. Thank you.

My son was here for surgery yesterday. Apparently nothing available in Edmonton? But what a great experience! I mean it was surgery, so not fun, but everyone there right from admitting to his surgical team to his unit staff - they were ALL amazing, attentive, kind, compassionate and made his stay there so much calmer and stress free. We were never left unattended. While waiting I was 100% informed at all times as to his status, and I was so relieved that he was being cared for by such competent caring amazing staff. If your surgery is ever bumped to small town Lamont COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you all for restoring my faith in our Healthcare system.
